Please find attached an official notice regarding the introduction of an Infrastructure Surcharge.
This decision has been driven primarily by ongoing rail infrastructure works in Germany, as well as persistent congestion affecting both seaside and inland port operations – challenges that have been present for several months now.
As a result, and in line with actions already taken by other rail operators facing similar conditions, we are no longer in a position to absorb the associated additional costs.
The surcharge will be lifted as soon as the operational situation on rail and at the ports returns to normal.
