KPO E2.1.3 Intermodal Projects
We are implementing a project entitled: ‘Purchase of railway platforms to service the PCC Intermodal S.A. network’, which is co-financed by the European Union under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Investments: E2.1.3 Intermodal Projects.
As part of the project, we plan to purchase 100 railway platforms for container transport, which will enable us to launch additional rail connections between terminals.
The implementation of the project will primarily result in:
- An increase in the share of intermodal transport in total freight transport;
- A reduction in the negative impact of transport on the natural environment;
- A reduction in traffic congestion on Polish roads.
The main beneficiaries of the project will be:
- Our current and future customers and partners;
- Companies located in the regions where our terminals are located;
- Logistics operators and freight forwarders;
- Exporters and importers;
- Everyone who will breathe cleaner air.
The estimated cost of the investment is PLN 63,156,810 gross, and the value of the co-financing is PLN 25,671,000.
