about our company
We organise transport of containers to the destination point specified by the customer. In doing so, we focus on the advantages of intermodal transport. The container is transported by rail between sea and land transhipment terminals. In this way, it arrives at the hub closest to the final delivery address and is then transported by truck to the warehouse/production area doors directly. We operate on the basis of regular train services. We carry out transport across the country on the basis of our own rail licence. We organise the entire supply chain using our own equipment and know-how, which allows us to freely shape the most efficient solutions and guarantee the best possible service. The intermodal terminals we have modernised allow full control over the delivery and transhipment process. A fixed schedule (time table) of regular connections is an opportunity for the customer – our service is available to everyone, whether a shipper with 1 container or large producers with regular container lines.
PCC Intermodal SA
This is how we operate
The foundation of PCC Intermodal’s business is the search for optimalisation for container transport. We move cargo from road to rail, relieving the pressure on roads. Where it is more efficient, we use environmentally friendly rail transport. Our solution is a response to the market needs. We handle single containers as well as large consignments.
As a logistics operator, we respond to the challenges of the present and focus on solutions that reduce CO2 emissions into the environment. We use road transport where it is actually an asset – on short distances connecting our customer with the nearest terminal.
Our aim is for the intermodal network to give daily access to economically important regions, to all major ports in our part of Europe, and to reach the trade-relevant Ukrainian market. The idea of the solution which we have been promoting since 2005 is based on the creation of a network of regular daily container deliveries by intermodal method, using stable schedules of container trains and correlated first and last mile deliveries by road.
