UKRAINE IS ON A PERMANENT BASIS INCLUDED TO THE NETWORK OF REGULAR INTERMODAL CONNECTIONS BY PCC INTERMODAL SA
It`s been a year since PCC Intermodal SA has accepted first order for deliveries from Western Europe to Ukraine
and has included a train to/from Mostycka into its regular network of intermodal connections.
The operator makes the efforts to increase the frequency of regular trains in relation with Ukraine up to three regular connections
per week still this year.
Curently, the company offers regular intermodal connections, once a week to/from Mostycka in relation with:
- Gdańsk (via marine terminal DCT Gdańsk)
- Gdynia (via marine terminal BCT Gdynia)
- Central Poland (via terminal Kutno)
- Upper Silesia (via terminal Gliwice)
- Lower Silesia (via terminal Brzeg Dolny)
- Berlin and Brandenburg Region (via terminal Frankfurt Oder)
- Hamburg (via KTH, Eurogate)
- Duisburg (via DIT)
- Rotterdam (via CTT)
- Antwerp (via MainHub)
We did the first tests and tried to launch regular services to Ukraine already in 2011. Those first steps and understanding how to cross the PL/UA border with intermodal train, were a big experiment and valid lesson. At the same time we have put into operations connections to Russia and Belarus. The economical and political situation in Ukraine has stoped this project, until last year.
During that time the connections via Brest (BY) have grown up to regular five trains weekly.
In the Spring time 2020 we have successfully came back with the Ukrainian project! The customers being satisfied while having easy access to the alternative logistics solution, using rail connections, keep us developing the intermodal services to Ukraine. We have already booked the new platforms for this connection and are happy to welcome everyone on board of our regular trains.
The most common goods transported to/from Ukraine at the moment are: chemical products, polymers, fertillizers, ferroalloys.

PCC Intermodal`s Customs Agency together with Customer Service Department, help to organize transport with all the documentation and formalities necessary for cross-border services, both in import and export.
