The new platforms of PCC Intermodal SA are already put into operations

20 brand new 90 ft wagons have enlarged the fleet of PCC Intermodal.

The company has ordered wagons with EU Funds, directed from Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme, support.

The next part of the order will be received still this year.

The wagons are produced by Tatravagonka Poprad and Kolovag AD.  All together there will be 150 platforms of different kind, including Sggmrss 90’, Sgnss 60′ and Sggrss 80′. All of them will support intermodal services of the operator.

The first lot allowed to further develop the Poland-Belgium intermodal corridor, where the frequency of the connections was enlarged from 3 to 5 regular weekly trains.
PCC Intermodal operates currently over 700 wagons. The company organizes over 5000 intermodal trains per year and operates connections between Gdańsk, Gdynia, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and inland hubs in Poland as well as on the intraeuropean corridors to/from the Ruhr Area (Duisburg) and Brest (BY/PL boder).
