In June 25th, 2015 the biggest fans and enthusiasts of intermodal industry were celebrating the completion of the most modern transshipment terminal in central Poland – KUTNO TERMINAL.

PCC Kutno Terminal was put into operation in 2011. In Summer 2014 the enlargement process was finished and the terminal has doubled its operating surface. During this year’s Spring the hub has been additionally equipped in twomodern gantry cranes.

Currently, the terminal operates with two gantry cranes and 6 pieces of mobilehandling equipment – reachstakers. Thanks to the expansion and modern equipment, the terminal can handle over 250,000 TEUs annualy. The terminal storage capacity is around 4000 TEU. The object is equipped in 76 power plugs for controlled temperatures containers storage.

It is the most modern terminal of its kind in Poland. Kutno Terminal is connecteddaily with the most important ports in our part of Europe: Gdańsk, Gdynia, Hamburgand Rotterdam.

Currently the terminal employs 46 people.

The investment project was completed in the area of 80 000 m2 for over 100 millionPLN (1/3 of this amount was financed by the EU Operational ProgrammeInfrastructure and Environment.)

The investor of Kutno Terminal is PCC Intermodal SA – a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2009. PCC Intermodal SA operates in the intermodalindustry for 10 years. The company is growing rapidly and continues in achievinglong-term growth strategy. Currently, the company employs more than 200 people.The headquarters of the company is located in Gdynia.
