Last Thursday at the Container Terminal in Brzeg Dolny more than 400 people celebrated the 10 years anniversary of PCC Intermodal SA.

The Company runs its development very dynamically for a decade already. In 2009, PCC Intermodal S.A. was the first in the intermodal industry which has successfully debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

We have taken up the challenge of building modern transshipment terminals in the hinterland. And we have kept our word! This year for 10th-birthday we funded ourselves and our customers three great gifts. Completion of investments of the Terminals: in Central Poland, Lower and Upper Silesia.

In June the company celebrated the completion of the investment process in Kutno. From the end of September, it launched the expansion of the terminal Brzeg Dolny, and before the end of the year plans to introduce expanded terminal in Gliwice.

With this type of intermodal investments Poland is gaining a whole new quality of logistics service.

The ceremony began with a short official part where the Management Board introduces in a few sentences the most interesting moments of the companies 10-year history. After this dialogue the owner of the Capital Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board thanked to the Management Board and the whole PCC Intermodal S.A. team for their successful work. Also the Marshal’s Office representative thanked officially for the company contribution to development of the region.

During the event the guests could enjoy 4.5-meter cake in the shape of a train carring 10- different colors containers on it and cut the ribbon to mark the launch of investment after the extension officially opened.

The evening part of the event took place in the Brzeźno Palace, where in a beautiful natural setting, listening to live music, guests discussed until midnight, having fun together, playing golf, watching bartenders shows, tasting and trying their hand at live cooking.
