In mid-February 2018 PCC Intermodal SA has put into operation 2 more, modern locomotives, this time the choice was directed on Bombardier TRAXX type E186.

The operator uses own rail service in domestic corridors. Rail Department of PCC Intermodal SA organises intermodal trains between PCCI terminals within the network.

Thanks to the development of own traction fleet the company can answer the market needs faster and more flexible, being able to add to the network new connections.

Currently the operator ensures regular, daily intermodal services between Polish Ports Gdańsk (DCT), Gdynia (BCT, GCT) and Central Poland (Kutno, Poznań), Lower Silesia Region (Brzeg Dolny), Upper Silesia Region (Gliwice), 3-times a week South-East Poland (Kolbuszowa).

International corridors to/from Poland are being served accordingly: Brest (BY), Antwerp (BE) – 3 times a week, Duisburg (DE) – 4 times a week, Hamburg, Frankfurt Oder (DE) – 5 times a week, Rotterdam (NL) – 7 times a week.

Soon the company plan to enlarge the network in Baltic – Adriatic corridor adding to the regular connections Austria and Hungary.
