Development

The development department is engaged in organization and support of the intermodal transport process within special connections  formed as part of cargo transport projects dedicated to the needs of company’s partners and not covered by the range of regular connections provided by basic network of PCC Intermodal S.A.

PCC Intermodal S.A. will soon launch a regular service on the line PCC Terminals – Lyon Terminal. The product will be available 4 times a week and the estimated transit time for the connection Kutno – Lyon is 3 days. High quality, regular rail connection will be correlated with door deliveries within 150 km from Lyon. The connection is going to be tested in  – H1 2016.

PCC Intermodal offer to its partners transport of volume heading toward Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia from Rotterdam, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Gdańsk and Gdynia ports plus major industrial regions of Central and Eastern Europe (Ruhr Area, Upper and Lower Silesia, Podkarpacie, Central Poland). Transit time for containers on the line Western Europe to/from Moscow (7-10 days), Tula (7-10 days), Omsk (11-14 days), Naushki (19-21 days). Trains are scheduled 3  times a week.

The Company is planning to run a new intermodal service available for the Baltic Adriatic Corridor. The service is going to start with 2 connections weekly and it will support the flows of cargo on the route: Scandinavia via polish ports; Poland to/from Slovakia/Austria and Hungary. The estimated transit time will be maximum: 4 days for volumes transported from North Poland to South Europe destinations.
