Inland terminals from which road transport is provided

Intermodal transport is by its nature an optimal combination of the advantages of various means of transport.

PCC Intermodal S.A. has, in order to meet the needs of the market, combined the merits of rail transport over long distances with the benefits provided by the flexibility of road transport at the final stage of the journey to the door of the customer.

The idea of intermodal transport rests on a network of inland transshipment terminals located in the vicinity of economic centres of regions commercially developed and industrially modern. Within a radius of 150 km of these terminals transport of containers is organised by truck direct to / from customers.

Selected directions of road transport:

Road transport is integral to the organisation of the intermodal transport process. The correlation of road transport with regular rail connections allows optimal results to be achieved in terms of both quality (time) and cost, providing intermodal transport services with an advantage over other standard solutions based on only one means of transport over the entire cargo transport route, from point A to point B.
