Leader of intermodal transport, PCC Intermodal SA, launches its first regular train to Russia!

In the first week of December starts regular railway connection from Kutno to Moscow, which will ensure a smooth handling of containers stream towards the Russian capital, from port of Rotterdam, Hamburg and Bremerhaven, from marine terminals Gdansk and Gdynia and also from the major industrial regions of central-eastern Europe (Ruhr, Berlin area, Upper, Lower Silesia and central Poland).

Intermodal connection between Europe and Russia, based on the regular shuttle trains is a natural step in the development of our company and the the next stage of constructing regular intermodal network in our region of Europe. Accordance with our development strategy, we use the opportunities offered to us by, on the one hand, excellent localization of our country on the map of the Europe. And on the other hand, opportunities given to us thanks to our newly opened hub in central Poland: Terminal Kutno. Travel between Rotterdam - Moscow and Hamburg / Bremerhaven - Moscow will take less than a week. Cargoes intended for Moscow will be on the Terminal Kutno on Thursday, and on Monday morning will get to Moscow. According to the idea of intermodality, cargoes will travel by train more than 2.5 thousand of kilometers. Directly to the customers door, containers are delivered by road.
