Good year for PCC Intermodal
Gdynia, December 2011
For six years PCC Intermodal systematicly and very quickly, from a small company became a major international player, the leader of intermodal transport in Poland. All that thanks to well-thought and consistently implemented network of daily rail connections between European marine terminals and land trans-shipment terminals in well developed economic regions.
The year 2011 was no less intense than the previous ones. It's another year of many changes and significant achievements of the company.
In the passing year we started terminal operations in Gliwice, in Silesia Logistic Center. We also opened modern handling terminal in Kutno. Despite not the best situation in the financial markets, we raised capital, gaining funds for further development and investments. Few days ago started our new regular intermodal train to Moscow – PCC Moscow Express. It is another regular international rail connection in our network. Last but not least, we gained confidence of the market and many satisfied customers. This allows us to an optimistic look at the coming 2012. Dariusz Stefanski, CEO of PCC Intermodal S.A.
