Milestones in the growth of company activity

In August 2005 PCC Intermodal S.A. initiates the first regular rail connections. The company, beginning intermodal operations with a team comprising just a handful of staff, employs a staff of over 100 after only five years. Offices perform their tasks in Gdynia and Jaworzno and at the terminals in Sławków, Brzeg Dolny and Krzewie nr Kutno, as well as in Hamburg.

  • obtaining Security and Safety AEO certificate (Authorized Economic Operator)

  • launching new regular rail connection to Moscow: PCC Moscow Express

  • grand opening of modern cargo hangling terminal: Kutno Terminal

  • PCC Intermodal S.A. moves to his new, bigger office in Gdyni on ul. Hutniczej 16.

  • the end of formal procedures and begining works on constructing new modern transshipment terminal in Kutno.

  • launch regular rail connection between Herne (Germany) and Polish terminals

  • start-up new PCC Intermodal office in Hamburg (Germany)

  • launching a new regular international rail connection between terminal in krzewie and PCT in Rotterdam (Netherlands)

  • extended connection between Brzeg Dolny and Szczecin to Frankfurt/Oder, enabling transport to german seaports - Hamburg and Bremerhaven.

April

  • company have changed name to PCC Intermodal S.A. and headquarters of the company moved to Gdynia.
  • running connection linking container terminal in Gliwice with terminal in Gdańsk.

January

  • transformation company from PCC Rail Containers Sp. z o.o. into company PCC Cointainers S.A.
     
2007 

August

  • running regular rail connection between terminal in Brzeg Dolny and marine terminals in Gdańsk (DCT) and Gdynia (BCT).
     
  2006 

November

  • running regular rail connection between Euroterminal in Sławków and Baltic Container Terminal in Gdynia (BCT).

July

  • obtain licences to perform the national road transport in the carriage of goods.

April

  • creation the new office in Gdynia, which major goal was handling national rail connections realized by PCC Rail Containers Sp. z o.o. with marine container terminals and also organization sea freight for the entities of the company's capital.

November

  • the company manages container terminal in Brzeg Dolny and runs the warehouse and logistic service PCC Rokita S.A. and Rokita-Agro S.A. for the dispatch of the selected products.

August

  • running regular rail connections between terminal in Brzeg Dolny and marine container terminal VGN in Świnouscie.

July

  • adopting a resolution on changing company's name into PCC Rail Containers Sp. z o.o. change of headquarter to Jaworzono, registration the changes in The National Register of Judical.
     
2004

October

  • setting up PCC Rail SPEDKOL SP. z o.o. (original name of the legal predecessor PCC Intermodal S.A.) with the headquarter in Kędzierzyn - Koźle.

 

A new office in Hamburg

In January 2010 the company opens a new office in Hamburg. The firm organises intermodal transport, providing regular connections between Polish inland terminals and the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven, five times per week!

The debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange

On 18 December 2009 PCC Intermodal successfully debuts on the WSE. The issue price of the shares is set at the level of PLN 3 and the reduction amounts to almost 23%. The first months in which the company is present on the Exchange confirm the success of the debut, the value of the shares rising constantly month on month. In May 2010 growth reaches 50%!
