PCC Intermodal (formerly Rail Containers) started activity in June 2005. The main scope of its activity covers intermodal transport of goods in containers as well as door to door service.

In August 2005, PCC Intermodal, as first in Poland, initiated regular route by means of private train from inland terminal to maritime port, creating comfortable alternative for previous connections in so called disperse traffic and road transportation of containers in far distances.

This innovative in Polish conditions solution shows intermodal transportation opportunities and points at direction for Polish transportation market further development.
PCC Intermodal operates via inland container terminals in Brzeg Dolny, Sławków, Krzewie, Fraknkturt /Oder and offer door-door service for all customers.  
Currently those terminals have a significant contribution to the growth of our company. In order to significantly increase the scale of operations, PCC Intermodal is planning construction and launching at least 5 new, modern intermodal terminals in Poland by the end of 2012.

The main goal of PCC Intermodal is to reach high efficiency of these terminals in order to offer top class service and the fastest transshipment at the lowest possible costs.

By combining experience and enthusiasm of its staff and adopting best solutions in scope of terminal and transport operations methods PCC Intermodal intends to reduce number of long distance truckings in Poland by moving containers from roads to rail offering at the same time first quality services to customers.
